At David Turner Music, We Don't Offer "Typical"

For example, imagine starting your wedding or event with a classical violin and flute duo, or perhaps a string quartet. Next up, as your guests arrive at a second location for drinks and hors d'oeuvres, they are greeted by strolling saxophone, or maybe a "Game Of Thrones" inspired fantasy duo. Finally, as the transition into the ballroom they are greeted by an awesome "Live Music" DJ performance, featuring a disc jockey who is also a professional musician. These are the kind of experiences that we enjoy creating here at DTM!

Our Story

SERVING SARASOTA AND SOUTHWEST FLORIDA SINCE 2011

But the story goes back further than that...

Professional musician David Turner and his wife Shawna have been performing at incredible venues throughout Florida, the US, and the world for years.

We have hundreds of events under our belts. From huge concerts and music festivals to platinum weddings and corporate events. We've performed at elite charity galas, grand openings, book signings, birthday and anniversary parties, mitzvahs, Christmas and holiday parties, and many more. Our Team

Meet our DJ and Musicians

Husband and wife team David and Shawna have been performing for years, and are conservatory-trained musicians. As a result, they are able to offer incredible entertainment in the greater Sarasota area. David handles the Disc Jockey Service, "Live Music" DJ Service, strolling saxophone cocktail hours, live jazz performance, wedding and event coordination, and more. Shawna, a member of Sarasota Orchestra and Sarasota Opera, is a world-class violinist who has traveled the globe and performed with an incredible list of famous artists and high-calibre orchestras. Together, they offer music performance that ranges from classical and jazz to today's popular hits, with everything in between!
